Soul Food “The Valley of Love”
This month’s program will explore the nature of love and how its many forms can carry us through the deepest valleys and the highest mountains, to inspire and transform us.
Sunday, November 19 at the San Clemente Baha’i Center
11:00 AM Tea & coffee
11:30 AM Soul Food Program begins
12:30 PM A pre-Thanksgiving cookout with all our friends and neighbors
Our performer this month is Tara Ellis. Healing comes in many forms and takes effect in different ways. For Tara, it’s found and treated through her love of music. At times soft and winding and at others fast and purposeful. Tara’s lyrics bring a sense of honesty longing to find its truest self. This SoulFolk music inspires new hope and a feeling of rebirth. She simply reminds you of who you are through melody and song.
“Soul Food“ seeks to create an atmosphere for reflection and spiritual growth combining live music, audio visual presentations and recitation of sacred writings from diverse faiths and indigenous cultures and the writings of philosophers, authors and leaders of thought from all over the world.
